Prerequisites: None. However, you will need to have a good level of English to be able to understand health and safety concepts and discuss them in your exam
Assessments:
IG1(Theory)
Unit IG1 is assessed by a scenario-based assessment completed at home. You shall have 24 hours to complete this. Refer Open Book Exams .

A Closing Interview will be conducted by an Interviewer
Minimum pass standard: 45 marks
IG2 (Practical Risk Assessment)
Practical Assessment
Minimum pass standard: 100 marks
Submissions by notified date - handwritten or electronic. Preferred is electronic
Results will be notified as either ‘Pass’ or ‘Refer’
Certification is awarded to the candidates who achieve a minimum of “PASS” standard in both IG1 and IG2

Qualification Grades: The qualification grade is based on the result from Unit IG1:

Distinction: 75 marks or higher

Credit: 65 – 74 marks

Pass: 45 – 64 marks
Exams: Open Book Exams (OBE) are held every 2 months throughout the year as announced by NEBOSH for each year.
Learners must be registered before they can take an examination. All examination registrations must be completed with us by notified date.

Confirmation of registration for Open Book Exams by due date is mandator to sit in OBE.
Login details for open book examinations: Following receipt of your Confirmation of Registration email for your OBE, NEBOSH will send you a further email containing your Username and Password for the NEBOSH online examination platform. If you have not received this email, please remember to check your spam folders.
Issue of Certificates: Certificates will be issued to the successful candidates usually within 20 working days from the declaration of the result date.
Retest: If you do not pass both or either of the unit, you can book a retest. Fees shall apply.
